Free PowerPoint Tips - How to Loop PowerPoint Presentation Slides Continuously

This PowerPoint Tip is very useful for those who have just a few slides and want it to keep looping continuously till a key is pressed on the keyboard like Esc Key. It is as good as having an animated gif. The presentation keeps looping in full screen mode. Here is how to do it.

Select all the slides or one slide at a time as you wish. Now on the PowerPoint Ribbon menu click on the "Transition" tab.

In the ribbon menu that opens below go to the right most end and look for "Advance Slide".

Remove the Check Mark (Leave the small square empty) for the Option "On Mouse Click" because you want the slide to advance without any mouse click.

Below that in the small square box Put a Check Mark by Clicking it and give an appropriate time like 1 second or whatever time you want the slide to stay on screen before it advances automatically to the next slide. Do this for all the slides in your PowerPoint presentation.

When you run in presentation mode, the slides will start going from one to the next automatically. But it will stop at the last slide.

To Loop the Presentation from the first slide again automatically here is what you need to do.

Click on the "Slide Show" Tab on the PowerPoint Ribbon Menu on top.

In the ribbon menu that opens below that Click on the "Set Up Slide Show" button and a new dialog box will open up.

In this dialog box look for "Show Options"

Put a Check Mark on the "Loop Continuously Until 'Esc'" option by just clicking that option and then Click OK button.

That is all. Now when you press the function button "F5" or run the presentation using the presenter icon on the bottom of the slide, your PowerPoint Slides will start running automatically one after the other. At the end it will restart automatically from the first slide again and will keep repeating.

To stop the automatic slide show loop, just press the "Esc" button on the keyboard at any time. That is all.
