Break up Large WinZip Files to Email
You can make a 16 exabyte single compressed zip
file containing 4 billion files and folders in it and You don't want to use

only say 25 mb or 100 mb files to be sent. Nothing to worry.
WinZip lets
you breakup the large Zip file into smaller files of the size you
specify like each file 25 mb or 100 mb or 650 mb, 4700 mb or a custom
size, etc, for sending on email or writing a CD/DVD etc as seen in the above
picture.
If you notice in the above picture, the WinZip has split the large file
of size 1.46 GB into
two smaller files of 648 mb each and the remaining 206 mb into a
third file for writing to a CD, based on the selection of 650 mb file size.
WinZip will create the first file as a .zip file and then
name the remaining file pieces as .z01, .z02, .z03 and so on, making it
easier to send these super large sized files on
Email (25 mb) or put them on to a CD or DVD 650 mb etc.
The smaller split Zip files can be sent in separate emails and combined
later. If you had selected 25 mb or100 mb size it would have made files
smaller than 25 mb or 100 mb files as the case may be.
Now if you just double click on the Zip file, all three files will get
extracted as one Single Large File. On top of it all you can password
Protect and use 256 bit AES Encryption to secure you file, if you want
to.
Your email receipient has to download all the pieces one by one and double
click on the file with .zip extension. If there was a password set whilst you compressed
and encrypted the file, then WinZip will ask for that password to decrypt the file. Once the Password is given the
.zip file will run and process to combine all the pieces together and give
