Bolivia Daylight Saving Time

At this time Bolivia does not use Daylight Saving Time or DST. But Bolivia did use DST long ago. It is known that Bolivia used UTC-4:32:36 hours as its standard time from 1800 to 1889. But on 01 Jan 1890, a Wednesday the Local Mean Time LMT was changed to CMT, but without changing the time which remained at UTC-4:32:36 hours. Finally on a Thursday 15 Oct 1931 the CMT was changed to BOST or Bolivia Standard Time with the addition of 1:00 hour to the existing time making it UTC-3:32:36 hours BOST. One year later on a Monday, the 21st March 1932 the Bolivia government added 0:27:24 hour to the zone time to bring it up to UTC-4:00 hours as its new zone time, which is a whole number is also its current local time called as BOST or Bolivia Standard Time which now is called BOT. Since then there has not been any time change and the time in Bolivia has since then remained at UTC-4:00 hours BOT until now and probably will never change. DST or Daylight Saving Time is unlikely to be adopted in Bolivia in future as well.
